When I started applying to colleges, I also wasn't sure what major or career. I had high English grades and low Math ones, but my SAT scores were the opposite. I went with computer science after seeing it on a drop down in the common app website.
Personally, what I hated about high school was all the daily homework and busy work assignments. In college, it's a lot nicer cause you set your own schedule and it's more project-based instead of participation or daily assignments. You can really focus on only the subjects that you care about.
Although, I do know some others that went were undecided, took a lot of electives to see what they liked, and then decided what they wanted to do later. Is there anything career-wise that you might be interested in?
I don't think there's was anything wrong with trying to figure it out later, there's so many random unknowns, and people move around majors all the time. Even little things like, you might meet certain people and prefer hanging out with them, and they're all in the same classes, lunches line up, etc.
