Webm likely falls under the same boat, although I haven't tested it explicitly. There might be something clever that's doable with GIFs or HTML canvases, but there would still be no way to produce sound.

i wish nintendo would let us have the browser... this is the only way i can talk to my mom sometimes when i see a message from her it says ''this screen will now be closed'' and i don't want her to worry she has enough stress already and just when i was talking to my partner it kicked me off without ''this screen will now be closed'' and connected me to the wifi...
